Illegal in Blue
I will not even detail the story/plot of ‘Illegal in Blue’ because in my opinion, it’s not necessary. I remember informing posters about ‘Illegal in Blue’ being available to watch on Comcast’s ‘On Demand’ channel a few months ago. But; unless you are one of those viewers who enjoy watching very bad movies, than I don’t think you will even care what the plot for this movie is all about. Not only is it the typical good guy, by the book, cookie cutter cop that falls for the sultry vixen; but the acting is completely horrible. It’s laughable horrible. It’s like ‘why the hell am I still watching’ horrible. After watching the movie from beginning to end once, I refuse to sit through this movie in its entirety ever again; unless I happen to began watching and fall asleep with the movie still on. So why would I ever suggest such a mind numbing film as ‘Illegal in Blue’ to anyone?
Because the sex scenes between the characters ‘Kari Truitt’ played by Stacey Dash and ‘Chris Morgan’ played by Dan Gauthier are simply hottttttt!!!! They are ‘Red Shoe Diaries’ soft core kind of hot. When I discovered that Dan Gauthier played the part of ‘Kevin’ on One Life to Live, I was pissed that they did not use him to his full potential. Did they even watch ‘Illegal in Blue’? Sex in the afternoon would have surely been redefined. I implore all lovers of interracial romance to rent/buy/download this movie JUST for those scenes. And I do mean JUST for those scenes. Do not try to follow the plot. Do not try to figure out the movie at all. Don’t ask the obvious questions that you will surely ask yourself if you watch this movie, JUST watch the scenes. It surely makes up for the lack of intimacy that ‘clouds’ the interracial movie genre. Plus, it’s a movie to add to your interracial film collection if you haven’t seen it yet.

I truly enjoyed Mission Impossible 2 from beginning to end. One of the best parts of the movie is when Ethan (Tom Cruise) and Nyah (Thandie Newton) lay eyes on each other for the first time. Tom Cruise and Thandie Newton had great chemistry throughout the entire movie; which could be described as a sultry, foreplay ‘dance’ that flowed naturally between their characters. Add in the charming; yet psychotic Ambrose (Dougray Scott) as the scorned ex-lover, and you have yourself one hell of a triangle.
In Mission Impossible 2 we follow the infamous secret agent, Ethan Hunt, as he is given an ‘impossible’ task to recover and destroy a genetically modified disease called ‘Chimera’. We also find that ex-secret agent, turned bad boy, Sean Ambrose is looking to profit from the disease. This would have been a simple espionage spy film with the usual good guy vs. bad guy drama, until ‘complicated’ enters the scene in the form of Nyah Nordoff-Hall. An international thief, Nyah is recruited by IMF to assist in drawing out Ambrose in time to recover and destroy the disease before it lands in the wrong hands and become an international threat. It doesn’t take long for Nyah to ‘steal’ Ambrose’s heart yet again and have him putty in her hands. But a simple mistake could cost Nyah her life and Ethan his sanity.
Romance, envy, jealousy and revenge is the heart of this movie. It was entertaining to watch Ethan and Nyah try to control their emotions for each other, while trying to dupe the diabolical Ambrose at the same time. Dougary Scott was outstanding as the villainous Sean Ambrose, who made me love/hate the character of Sean Ambrose. With Ving Rhames as the reliable computer expert for Ethan and Richard Roxburgh as the evil muscle man for Ambrose, this movie is a keeper. I have re-watched this movie many times, and I find myself enjoying it more and more. This is definitely a movie to recommend, and I do so a hundred times over. Enjoy.
